This box was a birthday present for my wife, Paige. It has a cloth bottom and a sliding drawer. The drawer is a curved piece of Monterey cypress with thin strips of camphor wood to define its shape. The drawer slides along two aromatic camphor wood runners. The dovetails of the box are slightly proud to emphasize its joinery construction.
