The inspiration for these seat designs came during a visit to Dick and Beani Wezelman's ethnic art open house in Berkeley, California, with my great friends, David and Maggie. We all fell in love with the West African Senufo chairs, an elegant two-plank construction (the seat plank slides through a slot in the back plank), and decided to fully customize this chair design for each of our body types and comfort. The chairs were a celebration of our collaboration in building this web site, and each seat fits the intended sitter best of all.
